Our local businesses are the backbone of our communities. From independent traders on the Broadway to the pubs, shops and firms across Crayford, Barnehurst, Northumberland Heath and Slade Green, they create jobs, keep our high streets alive and give people confidence in the future.
Having started out as a Saturday boy at Marks & Spencer in Bexleyheath and spent 11 years in retail, I know how important local businesses are, and how tough things can be. That’s why I’ve put together this guide for local employers. Inside you’ll find:
